MOGIT are now offering IRATA Rope Access Training under the control & approval of K2 Specialised Services PTE Ltd, Singapore.
Courses are available at the following locations in Thailand:
Rope access work can only be carried out in a safe, reliable manner when operatives are competent, suitably experienced and trained, capable of inspecting and assessing their own equipment and are subject to appropriate levels of supervision.
IRATA has developed a formal training scheme and grading structure for workers depending on their experience and level of assessment.
K2 provides the full range of IRATA levels 1, 2 and 3 courses in accordance with the standards defined in IRATA's "Code of Practice’’ for certification of personnel engaged in rope access methods".
Our training structure is one of the most comprehensive in the world. To date, we have trained over 600 technicians in all levels.

IRATA levels 1, 2 and 3 courses
K2 in association with MOGIT provides the full range of IRATA levels 1, 2 and 3 courses in accordance with the standards defined in IRATA's "Code of Practice’’ for certification of personnel engaged in rope access methods".
IRATA level 1
A technician who is able to perform a limited range of rope access tasks under the supervision of a level 3 supervisor.
IRATA level 2
A lead technician who is capable of:
- rigging working ropes.
- undertaking rescues.
- performing other rope access tasks under the supervision of a level 3 supervisor.
IRATA level 3
A technician who:
- is capable of complete responsibility for work projects.
- is able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required of levels 1 and 2.
- is conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation.
- has a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques.
- holds a current first aid qualification and has knowledge of the IRATA certification scheme.
- is capable and competent to supervise other IRATA technicians of levels 1, 2 and 3.
Upon successful assessment, candidates will receive an ID card, certificate and a logbook. New entrants to the IRATA scheme will also receive a copy of the IRATA Documents and the IRATA Code of Practice
